What is going on with my dryer vent?

We have found that some of the dryer vents in Coble Farm are disconnected from the roof caps. These dryer vents need to be reconnected to the roof and sealed with mastic so the lint and moisture does not come back into the attic space. There have been some that the pipe has completely fallen and the dryers are exhausting directly into the attic.

If not repaired residents run the risk of pumping moisture and lint into their attics. This can lead to damage to the clothes dryer, hvac system, insulation, mold and a variety of other problems.
