Dryer Vent Cleaning in Gibsonville: Ashley Woods
We were out in Ashley Woods recently, the neighborhood off Ashley Woods Drive in Gibsonville. A lot of the homes there (including Courtyards at Ashley Woods and the surrounding area) have dryer vents that run to the roof. Over time lint stacks up in the pipe and at the cover. This job had that, plus a transition hose that was past its prime.
We also serve all of Gibsonville — if you’re looking for dryer vent cleaning in Gibsonville, we’ve got you covered.
What We Found
Behind the dryer we found the usual dust and lint buildup, and the vent run was dirty. Up on the roof the cover was clogged with lint, which hurts airflow and pushes the dryer to work harder. The transition hose from the dryer to the wall was in rough shape, so we planned to replace it with DryerFlex as part of the job.
What We Did
We vacuumed behind the dryer, then ran our brush through the full vent and cleared the roof cover so the run could breathe again. We set the ladder for safe access to the roof (you’ll see that in the photos). We swapped the old transition for a new DryerFlex. It’s all-metal, holds up to heat, and moves air better than the flimsy flex you get at the hardware store. No extra charge for the DryerFlex when we do a cleaning.
Why This Matters
- Safer. Less lint in the run and at the cover means less fire risk.
- Faster drying. A clear vent means the dryer doesn’t have to run as long.
- Easier on the dryer. Less strain can help it last longer.
If you’re in Ashley Woods, Gibsonville, or anywhere in the Triad and your dryer’s been slow or you haven’t had the vent cleaned in a few years, schedule a cleaning. We’ll take care of the rest.
